Abstract (EN)

This thesis deals with the changes in daily life from the Second Constitutional, Armistice, and the first years of the Republic. The effects of the wars that took place during the Second Constitutional, Armistice and first years of the Republic. periods and the migrations that were the final results of these wars are analyzed from an Istanbul centered perspective. The visibility of women, the ways in which efforts were made to maket them visible, the changes in dress and entertainment concepts according to the periods and the etiquette of the Second Constitutional and the Republic, which is an important word for society are explained. This study claims that there is a society behind every war and innovation and that wars and struggles actually cause the people to go through a troubled period. It aims to contribute to social history studies due to the fact that it is written by taking the society as the center.
