IV ABSTRACT Mastar' s Degree Military and Education Reforms in the period of III. Selim Sema YELİ The University of Firat Social Sciences Institute Main Science Branch, Of Islamic History 2005, Page; VIII + 71 III. Selim had made reforms to return powerful days and had taken as west countries model. Nizam-i Cedid means new order which was tha first basic and first wide reforms in the Ottoman Empire. The restorations and newer orders were begun with Nizam-i Cedid. However, îrad-ı Cedid budget was established for expenses. Officers were educated for Nizam-i Cedid and military tecnical schools were set up for permanent reforms. In this term reforms were also made in the military units. Scientists were made some reforms; but these scientists could not understand orders very well. Fort his reason Medreses can be made a few reforms about these subjects. So new schools which were taught positive science were established. The Otoman Empire was made reforms like European schools. Key Words : III.
