Abstract (EN)

Within the scope of the thesis, hydrogen storage properties of two-dimensional materials and their compositions in bulk form at different pressures and separated into layers by liquid phase separation method were investigated at hydrogen pressures of 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 bar. At the same time, the hydrogen storage properties of materials in the metal hydride group such as LiH, NaH, ball milled LiH and NaH were investigated under the same pressures. In this context, it was determined that the hydrogen storage capabilities of two-dimensional materials and ball milled metal hydrides, which were delaminated by liquid phase separation method, increased. It was also determined that hydrogen storage capacities increased for all material groups with increasing hydrogen pressure. Hydrogen storage performance increased for MoS2+graphene with composition formation. The study also examined the performance of various materials in PEM fuel cell applications. This study shows that two-dimensional materials and their compositions are potential materials for hydrogen storage. The results obtained can contribute to the development of hydrogen storage technologies.
