Abstract (EN)
Ill ABSTRACT Master Thesis The Analysis of Two Dimensional Microstrip Line with the Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Method Yavuz EROL Fırat University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering 2001, Page : 67 In this thesis, two dimensional time dependent electromagnetic wave propagation has been studied in order to analyse microstrip lines by using Tinite Difference Time Domain Method, which is one of the methods used in electromagnetics. When an electromagnetic problem is analysed by FDTD, first Maxwell equations are discritized by Taylor series, then discrite equations belong to E and H fields are iterativelly solved by computers and finaly fields components of the Yee cell are observed in one and two dimensional structures. Key Words: Yee Cell, FDTD, Microstrip Line, Gaussian Pulse.
