Abstract (EN)

In recent years, the use and preferences of consumers have started to differ by means of second-hand products, which are one of the trends spreading rapidly all over the world. There have been many traditional and virtual environments in which used clothes are sold for reuse. It has been observed that old and used products have been transformed in past times and present in various economic, social and cultural situations and have started to be used again. In this context, the goal of this research is to uncover consumers ' views on second-hand fashion products sold from person to person in online environments. In addition, differences between online shopping motivations (economic, convenience and ideological) were also revealed according to their status and gender of using such products. Data were gathered from 243 participants who had at least one time second hand clothes shopping experiences and analyzed with the program of SPSS 20. While descriptive statistical analyses, validity and reliability analyses were carried out through this program, independent sample t tests were applied for the hypotheseis tests. Other motivational factors, excluding motivation for uniqueness, were found to differ by gender in other sub-dimensions, excluding bargaining power and nostalgia dimensions, according to second-hand product purchase situations. Keywords: Second hand clothes, online shopping motivations, consumer behavior, consumer satisfaction
