The effect of the Second Mihna Period on Hanafilsm

The Mihna events, which had a great impact on the History of Islam in general and the History of Fiqh in particular; turning into a conflict of sects, causing sects within the society, turning into a political policy tool, being used as a tool of takfir, being used for oppression and torment, etc. It is a subject that needs to be researched from many aspects for various reasons. For this reason, in our study, first of all, the dictionary and term meanings of the concept of Mihne will be explained. The names and reasons that influenced the emergence of Mihne will be explained. Our study will consist of two parts: introduction, 1st Mihne Period, 2nd Mihne Period, conclusion and bibliography. The influence of the Mihna Periods on jurists, especially on Hanafi judges, will be mentioned. In the first part, in order to better understand the events of the 2nd Mihna Period, the events of the 1st Mihna Period and the Hanafi scholars and their views at that time will be discussed in detail. In the second part the pressure, torment and oppression experienced by Hanafi scholars after the Second Mihna events will be mentioned, and the Hanafi Qadis who were dismissed from their duties will be mentioned. It will be mentioned that Hanafis were exiled and went to different geographies and what happened in this process caused different opinions among Hanafis. It will be mentioned that one of the underlying reasons for the struggle of Ahl al-Hadith and Ahl al-Ray is the events regarding the creation of the Holy Quran.
