Evaluation of elemantary school 4th and 5th grades ' science and technology course program from the perspective of scientific process skills based on views expressed by teachers: Afyonkarahisar sample

This study aims to collect and analyze teachers? opinions about elementary school 4th and 5th grades? Science and Technology Course Program, in terms of scientific process skills.The study group comprise 132 teachers of 4th and 5th grades randomly selected in the city of Afyonkarahisar and the towns and villages in the province by the same name. In analyzing the data collected, percentages, arithmetic mean, t-test and ANOVA variance analysis methods have been used.In statistical analysis, the significance test theshold has been set at .05 level.The data analysis shows that the views expressed by the teachers on the Elementary school 4th and 5th grades Science and Tecnology Course program from the perspective of science process skills, do not vary significantly according to gender, number of years served and the grade being taught.
