Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the effect of futsal training on gross motor skill development in primary school fourth grade students. The research group consists of 40 primary school fourth grade students studying at Zafer Primary School in Çobanlar District of Afyonkarahisar Province. Within the scope of the research, the TGMD-3 test was applied to the experimental and control groups to measure their gross motor skills. In the statistical evaluation of the data obtained from the experimental and control groups, independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test were used and the level of significance was accepted as α=0.05. Experimental and control groups; A significant difference was sought between the pretest-posttest, posttest of the groups, and the posttest-pretest differences of the groups. It was determined that there was a significant difference between locomotor skills, collective skills and gross motor skills among the pretest-posttest measurements of the students participating in the study. As a result of the research, it was determined that there was a significant difference in gross motor skills of the fourth grade students of the experimental group in favor of the experimental group compared to the control group.
