Abstract (EN)
In this study, students? reaching levels of STSE gains which are in the primary schools 4-5-6-7 -8th grades of education programs of science and technology, attitudes of according to environmental conditions and differences in levels of environmental information are determined. All of these purposes, in academic year of 2011-2012, a descriptive study was conducted to 4-5-6-7-8th grade?s 633 students of four primary schools who are educated at the city center of Elmalı which is small town of Antalya by applying environmental knowledge test and environmental attitudes survey. Environmental knowledge test and environmental attitudes survey were applied as pretest and posttest at the beginning of 1st term and at the end of 2 nd term of the academic year 2011-2012. The data obtained by application of the test and surveys were analyzed by SPSS 17.0 statistical program with help of independent samples T-test and analysis of variance. As a result of this analysis, we saw that the STSE learning area of Science and Technology Program effects increasing of students? level of environmental knowledge, however it does not occur any change in their environmental attitudes.
