Variables of elementary school students by gender analysis of levels of awareness for soccer

The level of primary school students' awareness of soccer, according to the variables of gender analysis and evaluation. The universe of Turkey that primary school students in creating the sample group of subjects in this study is a part of Turkey Football Federation in 2011 imposed Football Village consists of 148 female and 150 male students. Firstly, the current information about the purpose of study of the literature is given in a systematic way. Thus, a theoretical framework was created on the subject. Secondly; to reach the aim of study, the "Awareness Scale" developed by Old (2010) was applied to students participating in the survey questionnaire adapted by the researcher. Data, which was collected by the measurement equipment includes totally 35 items,were analyzed by computer programme that?s name is SPSS 17 (Statistical Package For The Social Science for Windows). In the analysis, to find an answer to the problem sentence, chi- square(X2) was used. In evaluating the data, chi-square (X2) was eligible to use. In addition, the frequency and% calculations were made for the independent variables. In this study, the error level is taken as 0.05 and 0.01. According the results of this study, female students? awareness of cognitive and psychomotor levels were low, affective and meaningful awareness levels were higher than male students and significant difference was found.
