A research for the professional sufficiency of primary school managers

This research is done for to determine evaluation and make suggestion by teachers about the managers professional sufficiency who are working in primary schools. In research it is allowed literature scanning about managers working in primary schools professional sufficiency in managing the institution.Research is made in scanning style. Research survey is applied to 355 people who are managers, primary school teachers and subject teachers chosen randomly are working in İstanbul city Europe side. Every survey form has two parts. First part has five questions about personal information of teachers. Second part has 90 questions which are under ten main topic aimed to determine the professional sufficiency of primary school managers.Teachers and managers who are working in primary schools have a different views about the primary school managers professional sufficiency which are decided by these variables gender, age, professional seniority, professional duration, school of gradutaion.This study has six parts these are the first is introduction, the second is theoretical informations and literature scanning, the third is way of research, the fourth is symptoms, the fifth is results and discussions and the sixth is suggestions. In the statistical analysis of datas which are gained the results p<0,05 level are shown in table and are evaluated. The groups who haven?t a meaningful difference isn?t allowed in this research.In the result of this research; it is reached that the teachers and primary school managers determine medium level for the professional sufficiency of primary school managers. For this reason it is necessary to increase the sufficiency of institution managers by seminars for Turkish National Education and new generations to reach assigned aims.Key words: Professional sufficiency, Primary School Manager
