Parent-activities in the primary school level that influence both the teacher?s and the students? performance. (Case from Tuzla)Family is the institution in which the child begins to his education, and gets socialized. Afterwards, educational institutions take on the function to socialize and to transfer knowledge. When the child gets into such institution there emerges an interaction between the family and the school. During this relationship, families should not lay the whole load on the schools. To clear away the problems faced in education, it is required that the environment and the families, as well as the schools, contribute in the course of education and instruction. They should continue the communication with the student and be a bridge between him/her and the school. A parent should provide the teacher and his/her child with support through any difficulties experienced. So, this study was done to find out ways how parents can increase the student?s and the teacher?s performance. For the instruments to gather data; relevant experts were benefited from, relevant literature was reviewed, and some questions were prepared by examining similar researches.288 parents were involved in the survey; their activities and the level/quality of their practices were evaluated. The study was applied to 300 students and 30 teachers, and it was examined that how parent activities can add to their performance. In the analysis of the data gathered from the questionnaires, SPSS statistics program was used. The data were analyzed through frequency-analysis. For the variable `gender?, a T-test type analysis was carried out. In order to find out if there were any differences between the group-variables with respect to in-service duration, graduation status of the teachers and the number of children, one-way variance analysis (ANOVA) was performed. In all the statistical studies completed, significance level was considered 0,05.In the research, it was revealed that parents take share in interactions and activities related to the student?s teacher, his/her courses, the communication with their child and environment.
