Abstract (EN)
The use of the concept of wisdom many times in the Qur'an and the combination of the name of Allah with the attribute of wisdom has brought to the agenda the relationship between wisdom and divine acts. The concept of wisdom is a noun from the infinitive "hukm", meaning to judge and decide. It also has a semantic relationship with the infinitive "ihkam", which means "to prevent, prevent, restrain, detain". Its general meaning is "to be accurate in words and deeds, to be accurate, to do everything in its proper place." The fact that the world of wisdom's meaning is so wide has also affected the broad consideration of issues such as the meaning, scope, and type of the concept. For this reason, the first chapter examines the etymological analysis of the concept of wisdom and the meaning of wisdom in different scientific disciplines; It has reached a point where we research its importance, its definition, its use in scientific disciplines, its similarities and differences, and what it covers. In the second part, the findings and inferences about wisdom in the first part constitute the subject of our thesis. Again, in the second chapter, the use of wisdom in the science of kalam and the general approaches of the Ash'ari, Maturidi and Mu'tazila sects on the subject are revealed. Afterwards, the views of Imam Mâtürîdî (d. 333/944) and Kâdî Abdülcebbâr (d. 415/1025), which constitute the aim of our thesis, on wisdom were tried to be examined comparatively under subheadings and their similarities and differences were shown. Maturidis also argue that there is wisdom in divine acts, but they differ from Mu'tazila regarding the effect of wisdom on God's acts. Maturidis are of the opinion that the wisdom or anything found in divine acts is not obligatory on Allah. In our study, the documentary source compilation technique, which is a data scanning technique, was used and the literature on our subject was examined. This classified information was written using the descriptive method of social sciences within the framework of the principle of objectivity. There are many studies in the literature on the concept of wisdom. However, as far as we can find, there is no independent study that comparatively examines the views of Imam Mâtürîdî and Qâdi Abdülcebâr on wisdom. In this respect, the thesis aims to contribute to the field. It has been determined that the concept of wisdom is the subject of many different scientific disciplines and the reason why studies are carried out on it is the idea that there is a relationship between wisdom and divine acts. In addition, another factor is the frequent emphasis on wisdom in verses and hadiths. Qadi Abd al-Jabbar discussed the concept of wisdom in the context of wujub aleallah and stated that Allah's actions must necessarily contain benefit and benefit. He stated that this obligation does not apply to all issues and is limited to religious issues only. Maturidi argued that there is wisdom in God's actions, that his wisdom is to put everything in its place, therefore God's actions cannot be without wisdom. He stated that the wisdom in God's actions is never seen as an external influence that obliges him to do something, but on the contrary, God himself sets this as a rule for himself.
