Abstract (EN)
In order to improve the performance of solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC), reduced graphene oxide (rGO) and nitrogen doped graphene oxide are synthesized and added into the anode functional layer to investigate their effects. In this respect, first, rGO synthesis and characterization studies are carried out. Then, rGO is added to the anode functional layer screen printing solution and studies on the amount of rGO, anode layer thickness and sintering temperature are performed. Similar addition is performed with nitrogen doped graphene oxide and the results obtained are presented. As a result of the optimizations performed, the highest performance is obtained from the cell that has single layer anode functional layer with 1 wt% rGO addition sintered at 1250 ºC. This cell exhibits ~17% higher maximum power density at 800 °C operating temperature than the reference cell.
