The median age was 23. 27.4% (n=1172) of 4276 female forensic cases are between the ages of 0-9. 25.9% (n=1109) of hospital applications were made in 2019. The most applications, 33.6% (n=1438), were made in the summer months. 95.4% (n=4080) of the cases are citizens of the Republic of Turkey. The most common reason for patients to be admitted to hospital is traffic accidents with 33.0% (n=1411). The second most common was falls, with 17.9% (n=766). In suicide cases, which are among the forensic case types, the poisoning method was most frequently used with 87.5% (n=301). The injuries of 54.4% (n=2328) of female forensic cases were mild enough to be resolved with simple medical intervention. The injuries of 77.8% (n=3327) were not life-threatening. 80.4% (n=3438) of the cases were discharged and 2.6% (n=110) died. Conclusion: Although the majority of female forensic cases applying to the hospital are due to traffic accidents, all kinds of cases such as abuse, suicide, intoxication, falls, and physical violence can be seen. The frequency of forensic case types varies in each age group. For example, although intoxication cases can be encountered in all age groups, they are most frequently encountered in the first decade, and the frequency of intoxication materials varies in each age group. Gender characteristics should be taken into consideration when evaluating female forensic cases. Healthcare workers, especially those working in emergency services, should pay attention to these issues and report them. Keywords: Female, forensic medicine, injury
