Developping open source information system for construction feasibility researches

While studying on feasibility researches, which are the beginning part of constructive management systems, search engines and internet is being used. Analyzing the gathered data is difficult. Collected data?s are not valid or incomplete. Only solution for this problem is maintaining information systems. But the costs of a functional information system is really high in both software and hardware expenses. Expensive cost is stopping or slowing the developments in this area. The uncovered need of information systems in the construction area and the answer of the question ?How can we reduce the costs of the Information Systems?? have been searched in this thesis. As result of these questions it has been reached that it is clearer when the graphical data and information systems used together. For reducing the cost open sourced software has been used. System is a component loaded on an online web page. This component is being held in a PHP supported server. Joomla has been preferred as the content management system for a costless and multi user supported web page. For time and money saving rather than loading a map to the system, free open sourced google maps have been used. When all pieces come together it is determined that fast operating, database creatable, examinable and a free of cost system has been developed.
