This study comprehensively examines the use of Virtual Reality (VR) technologies in the construction industry. It analyzes the integration and impact of these technologies within the Construction 4.0 framework. The research addresses key topics such as digitalization, information technologies, smart construction sites, artificial intelligence applications, and sustainability, detailing the digital transformation process in the construction sector. The use of Virtual Reality (VR) technologies in the construction industry has been explored across a wide spectrum, from project visualization to design processes, and from training applications to client presentations. The advantages provided by these technologies in areas such as project management, cost reduction, risk management, and customer satisfaction have been highlighted. The study details the application areas of Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR) technologies in the construction industry, evaluating their effective use, potential challenges, and future perspectives. The aim of the study is to focus on the areas of application of virtual reality in the construction industry, encouraging more in-depth research in this field and promoting the broader adoption of virtual reality technology in the construction sector. Increasing use of these technologies in the construction industry will ensure that projects are carried out more effectively and efficiently.
