Abstract (EN)
This study has been conducted to identify the issues arising in the integration of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operations into air traffic, detecting potential problems that may arise in the future, and providing solutions to the identified problems In the study, the subject was discussed with a qualitative paradigm approach. A case study qualitative research design was used as the research approach. Thematic analysis was conducted using NVivo software. After the thematic analysis, the listed problems were weighted according to their importance using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. To solve the problems, solution suggestions were received from field experts using the Nominal group interview technique. The theoretical basis of the interpretive scientific approach was used to interpret the recommendations. When the findings of the study are examined, according to the joint discussions of the UAV stakeholders, the problem of lack of UAV pilot training comes first in percentage terms, the problem of low performance of UAVs comes second, and the problem of UAVs delaying air traffic comes to the fore as the most frequently expressed problem. As a result of the weighting of the problems using the AHP method, the percentage distribution of the The first three main problems according to the geometric mean are 38.43% for aviation safety and efficiency problems, 33.27% for regulatory problems and 28.3% for UAV and ground system problems. It is seen that aviation safety and efficiency problems have the highest importance among the main problems. At the end of the study, field experts suggested solutions to the problems identified in the research using the Nominal group technique.
