Abstract (EN)
In this research, quantitative studies comparing the effectiveness of Internetbased distance education to face to face education, are compiled and combined togethermeta-analytical review method. 58 studies are included in to the meta-analysis. Meaneffect size is calculated as E=+0,2863. This is a small scale, positive and significanteffect size. At the end of the research, it is found that, Internet based distance educationis more successfull than face to face education.Keywords: Internet Based Distance Education, Effectiveness, Meta-Analysis,Internet, Distance Education.
