Abstract (EN)
Fuel cells are an emerging technology with various applications in transportation, stationary and portable power generation, with outputs ranging from mW to MW. The most developed, promising, widely researched, and demonstrated type of fuel cells is proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell. Proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells are promising devices for a variety of energy conversion technologies. However they have limited market penetration because on the market, it's of high cost which is a big barrier to their use. Proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell is one of the most important device for hydrogen energy system where hydrogen energy is providing a neat, sustainable and renewable energy use. Operating temperature of PEM fuel cells are increased by the preparation of Nanocomposite polymeric membranes with the addition of Nano-sized. Membrane electrode assembly (MEA) is the key part of Proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells. In this study, the effect of different operational parameters (cell temperature, humidity rate and gas flow rate) of 7 MEAs created for each catalyst was examined. A total of 7 Membrane electrode assembly (MEAs) were prepared within the scope of experimental studies. Different structural, 7 different sets of experiments to examine the effects of parameters on Membrane electrode assembly (MEAs) structures has been created. Our experimental data shows performance curves depending on gas flow rates of Membrane electrode assembly (MEA) created with Platinum (PtLa / C) anode and Platinum (Pt / C) cathode electrodes with Platinum (Pt: La) 3: 1 loadings by reduction method. When compared with Pt / C, the experimental data obtained by using PtLa2 / C electro catalyst in the Pt / C anode part of the MEA in the cathode part were better than the other PtLa / C data. PtLa2 at 80% humidity and Pt / C at 60% humidity, PtLa2 40 0C and Pt / C 60 0C cell temperature and PtLa2 / C with 20 mL / min gas flow rate Pt / C with 30 mL / min gas flow rate. When compared, the current-potential values of Membrane electrode assembly MEAs are very close to each other. The experimental results are presented in the form of polarization curves, which show the effects of the various operating parameters on the performance of the PEM fuel cell.
