Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to recycle our raw material resources into a new product in order to benefit from alternative resources as much as possible within the framework of profitable evaluation. For this purpose, the composite panels were produced by using waste office scrap papers and were examined some technological properties. In the production of composite panels, urea formaldehyde was used as glue, ammonium chloride was used as a hardener. Board production consists of waste paper at the rates of 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% and 100% was carried out by mixing it with industrial wood particles supplied from the factory. The physical and mechanical properties of composite panels were investigated according to the relevant TS-EN standards. According to the results obtained, it has been seen that it is possible to utilize office paper particles up to 20% in board production. Converting resources back into products by recycling can provide environmental and ecosocial contributions as it can partially reduce production costs in the board industry.
