Abstract (EN)
In this study, the texture type, field capacity (%), pH, lime (%), electrical conductivity (µS/cm), organic matter (%), and some macro [C (%), N (%), K (mg/kg), Mg (mg/kg), Ca (%), Na (mg/kg) and P (mg/kg)] and micro [Cu (mg/kg), Fe (mg/kg), Mn (mg/kg) and Zn (mg/kg)] nutrient contents of Iris stenophylla subsp. margaretiae (Ak Navruz) soils sampled from 10 different localities of Kadirli and Sumbas districts of Osmaniye province were determined. All these findings were obtained using international standard soil analysis methods. The findings obtained at the end of the study show that the plant spreads on sloping lands and its soils are sandy loamy textured, slightly alkaline, variable lime content and again variable macro-micro element contents. In this study, It was concluded that Iris stenophylla subsp. margaretiae being an endemic species, it is very important to protect the area where spreads and isolate it from other areas.
