Abstract (EN)
There is a necessisty of corporate regulations due to the increase in the number and effectiveness of international companies around the world and the fact that the companies are facing different legal regulations in the countries of operations. It is expected that the companies will act in accordance with business ethics by the reason of public's awareness and sensitivity about business ethics with the impact of corporate scandals that arise over time. The concept of corporate social responsibility, which is mentioned in the literature along with business ethics, becomes important with the increase of international regulations and these activities become a kind of advertising for companies. In the thesis the effect of business ethics perception on corporate social responsibility practices is examined in the banking sector, first business ethics and corporate social responsibility are examined theoretically then qualitative and quantitative research techniques are applied in the research part. In addition, secondary data were collected by examining the banks' web pages. The quantitative, qualitative and secondary data collected were evaluated together and the effect of business ethics perception on corporate social responsibility studies in conventional and participation banks is examined. As a result of the study, there is no statistically significant difference between business ethics perception and corporate social responsibility dimensions according to demographic characteristics (age, gender, education, income, experience) and corporate structure (traditional-participation). In addition, there is no statistically significant effect of business ethics perception on corporate social responsibility.
