Abstract (EN)
This study was conducted in order to determine whether occuptional commitment played a role in the effect of employees' perceived job insecurity on their psychological well-being levels and performance. The study was carried out on 623 mail distributors working in Ankara, İstanbul, İzmir, Bursa, Samsun and Tokat. Mail distributors are employed with 3 different types of employment: employed by administrative service contract, employed by KHK (No. 399) and Sub-Employees. The job insecurity that mail distributors perceive as these different forms of employment also varies. The fact that mail distributors employement with different forms of employment is the most important factor in choosing letter carriers as a sample. As a result of the study, it was determined that job insecurity, which is perceived as an independent variable, does not affect dependent variables, psychological well being and performance. It has been found that the perceived job insecurity instrument influences variable vocational commitment, and that professional commitment also affects both psychological well-being and performance. However, there is no interaction between the independent variable and the dependent variable, the mediating role of vocational commitment can not be determined.
