Abstract (EN)
Main aims of the sustainability analysis and exergy analysis developed in terms of termodynamic laws are minimalise collecteral negativity and relieve anxieties. In this study, it is aimed to deduce realist conclusions by analyzing the studies conducted in last 30 years, especially after 2010. Exergy and sustainability analysis of the instrumentated turboprop engine belonging to PT6A family is presented in this study. The engine has been used on over 125 different aircraft types and has been produced more than 47,500 and has reached nearly 400 million flight hours. As a result of the analysis, for 579 SHP value of this engine, exergy efficiency ψ = 19.92, waste exergy ratio raex = 80.08, exergy destruction factor fexy = 52.89, environmental impact factor rcef = 4.02 and exergetic sustainability index Θesi = 0.25 have been calculated. In addition, for the same SHP value, in the 64.50-65.50 RPM range, the isentropic efficiency of the engine has been found in the range of 36.5% to 39.5%.
