Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the relationships between the work stress, job satisfaction and life satisfaction levels of architects who are members of TMMOB Chamber of Architects Istanbul Büyükkent Branch Anatolia 2nd Big City Regional Representation. The sample of the study consisted of 202 architects who voluntarily participated in the research, among the architects who are members of the Istanbul Büyükkent Branch of the Chamber of Architects of Turkey, Anatolia 2nd Big City Regional Representation. A questionnaire form consisting of four parts was used as a data collection tool in the study. In the first part of the questionnaire, 5 questions about the personal information of the architects, in the second part, the job stress scale developed by Cohen and Williamson (1988), the job satisfaction scale developed by Hackman and Oldham (1980) in the third part, Deiner et al. 1985), the life satisfaction scale was used. In order to test the Hypotheses of the research, t-test, anova, correlation and regression analysis were performed. According to the results of the study, there was no significant difference in job satisfaction, life satisfaction and job stress levels in terms of marital status, education levels and gender of the participants. In the research, a positive significant relationship was found between life satisfaction and duration of architecture. Research results show that there is a positive significant relationship between job satisfaction and life satisfaction. A significant negative correlation was found between job stress and life satisfaction. There was a significant negative relationship between job satisfaction and job stress.
