Abstract (EN)
In this study, the effect of workhaolism was examined on the burnout of contract workers working in the public sector. The model preferred for his research is the demonstrative and relational survey model. The data collected by the participation of 149 contracted public sector workers in Istanbul. To obtain the data, Personal Information Form, the Burnout Scale and Workaholic Scale were adapted to measure the burnout of workers.. The analysis was carried out through Correlation Analysis, Independent Sampling T-Test and ANOVA test. The findings obtained from the results of analysis show that the level of workhaolism of working contract workers does not differ according to cases of the family living status, residential type, occupational choice, vocational assistance, and sex ,marital status, educational status, subcontracting opinions abou tthe future differ according to the trade union membership. According to findings, the level of burnout experienced by subcontracted workers is not related to, living with family, receiving assistance other than salary, difference in union membership, and sex, residence in residence, educational status, willingness to choose occupation,marital status the opinions of future possibilities of subcontract workers do effect on the burnout levels differently.
