Abstract (EN)

In this study, the definition of wet areas and used equipment elements were examined in terms of historical development, the formation between human-wet area, human-equipment elements, ergonomy factor, dwelling types, plan properties, lifestyle and behaviour pattern.As a sample for the study, area and equipment elements usages, bathing, excretion, self-care action, satisfaction, expectation and demands of users who had different income groups and lifestyles in Adana, ergonomy of used equipment elements were analyzed using surveys and field works.At the end of the study, design and ergonomy factors which affected the formation of wet area and wet area equipments were determined and some suggestions which would be data for area design were made.
