Abstract (EN)

Life is the most important value of a person who forms integrity with all its material and spiritual aspects. Islam gave great importance to human life. The survival and survival of human beings has been adopted as one of the basic aims of the religion of Islam. Therefore, in Islamic law, the protection of life comes before other basic aims that the religion of Islam aims to achieve, such as the protection of religion, property, generation and reason. Because the basis of all these rights is the right to life and other rights are built on it. Because it does not seem possible to talk about other fundamental rights and freedoms of a person who cannot have the right to life. In Islamic law, man is obliged to preserve the life entrusted to him. For this reason, they should avoid things that will endanger their health, take protective measures and should be treated when they get sick. According to Islamic law, since human life is sacred and inviolable, euthanasia is regarded as indistinguishable from suicide. Because no matter what the conditions are in terms of Islamic law, it is considered "suicide" to end one's life willingly. In this context, in this study, the value that Islamic law gives to human life is examined and it is aimed to draw the limits of the right to disposition on human life according to the classical Islamic sources. Keywords: Law, Islamic Law, Ethics, Sacred, Entrusted, Health, Euthanasia, Suicide, Right, Treatment.
