Abstract (EN)
After the Second World War, countries have established some regional organizations in many areas, esp. security and economy, through their common goals and interests. Many of the Islamic countries, where Muslims are the majority of population, are members of various regional organizations in security, economic, social and cultural areas. The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) is only one regional organization which foundation is Islam and Islamic countries are the only members. Therefore, our thesis is reviewing all aspects of the Organization of Islamic Conference. Despite the organizational goals, OIC established in 1969 was not successfull. OIC did not find any solutions in common issues of Islamic countries, not perform common actions and not effective. However, it is very important for Islamic countries, which be a common platform. This aspect, it has potential to play an important role in the future. Considering the permanent committees and the specialist agencies and the variety of action areas of these institutions, the OIC is a very important platform for Islamic countries.
