Faculty of business and the faculty of education a comparison of students attitudes towards mobile learning

The use of mobile technology has become an increasingly important habit with the increasing adaptation of individuals to these technologies. Mobile technologies that provide access to information independently of time and space cause radical changes in user habits. It offers an infrastructure that is independent of time and space with many users in different fields such as socialization, access to information, shopping, banking, education, health and so on. The mobile technologies that are also used in the field of education allow students to access their knowledge with their mobile devices and interact with mobile content materials. Mobile learning, all learning and related activities through mobile devices and mobile platforms, offers many advantages to students. User adoption and use of mobile learning, and specifically the adaptation of students to these technologies, is one of the key success factors for the use of mobile platforms for learning purposes. Therefore, measuring students' attitudes towards mobile learning is important for investments, and research and development activities on this field. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate students' attitudes towards mobile learning. In this scope; It has been examined whether there is any difference between students 'attitudes towards mobile learning according to their education level in different faculties and different undergraduate programs in terms of determining students' level of acceptance of mobile learning. In the data collection process of the study in which the quantitative research method was adopted, a questionnaire of the five-point Likert type consisting of 45 factors consisting of four factors was used. The sample group constitutes third-year students in the faculties of Business and Education at Sakarya University in the 2015-2016 school year and the total number of students participating in the program is 441. The main problem of the research is "Is there a meaningful difference between the students of the Faculty of Business Administration and the attitudes of the Faculty of Education to mobile learning?" In order to answer this question, comparative analyzes were carried out at the gender, department and faculty level. Factor analysis results in the findings of the study and results of the data analyses that determine the attitude of the sample group were included in the results. As a result; it has been observed that the level of attitudes of the Faculty of Business Administration and Education Faculty towards mobile learning is positive. It was concluded that there was no significant difference between the attitudes of the students of both faculties, and that the students of certain departments were more likely to be mobile learners than the others.
