Abstract (EN)

In this study, a goniophotometer system to obtain mathematical model luminous intensity curves of the luminaire is implemented. This model is developed visually by using three dimensional design software. All functions of the goniophotometer is controlled by computer. In the system, the luminaries are moved vertically and horizontally. All measured data obtained by a Iuxmeter is sent to computer by serial port and then saved as a file. Finally luminous intensity curves are obtained according to the instructions and calculations of the software. Each model of luminaries is obtained by the software program. Developed models provided are transferred to 3D enviroment of the computer program via ray tracing and radiosity individually. As a result, the design of luminaire is shown on the computer screen for applibility. Additionally, the external mathematical model can be applied to the software for luminaire design.Key Words Luminous intensity, Luminaire, Ray tracing, Radiosity
