Abstract (EN)

This thesis examines the process of Israel's settlement policy in the West Bank and East Jerusalem between the years 2006-2015, his position in the Israeli-Palestian conflict and the impact of the settler violence on Palestians and Israeli governments' settlement policies. Israeli settlements causing Palestian communities torn apart from each other have been the obstacle for the establishment of a Palestinian state with its own territorial integrity. Israel did not abide by the decision of being stopped the settlement activities which have been approved in the Roadmap dated 2003. Although, Israel's both ongoing negotiations with the Palestians and keeping on those settlement activities have shaken the confidence of the Palestian side and procastinated the Israeli-Palestinian conflict resolution. On the one hand, the increasing settler violence after 2006 aims at routing the Israeli settlement policy, but on the other hand, it complicates the lives of Palestinians. Key Words: Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, Israeli Settlements, Peace Process, Settler Violence, West Bank
