Abstract (EN)
Thanks to its resources, Azerbaijan took its place among the important energy producing states after its independence in the 21st century. Azerbaijan's independence has been of great importance, especially for Israel and Turkey, which have few countries to which they export energy, they are highly dependent on energy producing countries. Following the deal of the century, the selection of the mainstream pipeline as the Baku – Tbilisi - Ceyhan Oil Pipeline brought significant gains to Turkey and provided Israel with a new producer country from which to purchase oil. While the Russian state opposes the liberalization of the states in the South Caucasus region, which it sees as its immediate region, it has also tried to both securitize its immediate geography and prevent physical and political changes that occur beyond its control by making strategic moves that. In this research, the hypothesis that the relations between Turkey and Israel, which amounted to a strategic alliance with Azerbaijan, contributed positively to the improvement of Azerbaijan's relations between the two states after the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war, was investigated and tried to be proven. For this purpose, past relations with Russia, which has the most influence in the region, and relations with Turkey, Israel and Russia from independence until 2022 were discussed and examined in detail. In the research where oil, geopolitical location and arms trade are the determining characters, it was revealed that Azerbaijan has a positive impact on Turkey-Israel relations and the hypothesis of the thesis has been proven. In the research carried out through literature review for the preparation of the thesis, current news, scientific research and reports published by important organizations were used.
