İzmir, Urla, Çeşme, Karaburun landscape inventory and character analysis

In this study, natural, socio-cultural and visual landscaping characteristics of the study area were determined by utilizing the Geographical Information Systems technologies of İzmir Urla-Çeşme-Karaburun districts in İzmir-Çeşme Highway and the inventory and character of the area were revealed. Landscape character analysis studies for İzmir, Urla and Çeşme Karaburun were examined with a planning approach that is sensitive to ecology, environment and natural disasters in accordance with the conservation-equilibrium of the natural and socio-cultural components or elements that make up the landscape. Each item in the landscape inventory and character analysis study is handled within a holistic approach. In this context, the structure, function and change of the landscape have been presented for the landscape inventory and character analysis of the study area, based on the ecological characteristics of the area.
