Abstract (EN)

Isostasy is related to the response of crust and mantle against to the dynamic masses in limited space and frequency domain. In the isostasy concept the isostatic response functions help to explain the dynamic movements of the earth. Western Anatolia and Eastern Mediterranean regions are the most active fields in the world. For this reason, in this study the companse mechanism, the isostatic responce functions and flexural crust mantle boundary are calculated in the regions which have dynamic masses. The similar solutions are gained in Western Anatolia and west of Eastern Mediterranean regions. Finally the eartquake focal depths, seismic solutions, magnetic datas and thermal structures of the study fields are investigated with the solutions of this study. Key words: Isostasy, effective elastic thickness, lithospheric flexure, Western Anatolia, Eastern Mediterranean
