Abstract (EN)

Due to the increasing competition conditions in the textile sector, it has become more important than ever for textile companies to respond quickly to the demands of their customers. It is very difficult for companies to carry out their research and product development activities on industrial weaving machines before they start to produce woven fabrics. Besides, it is known that it is extremely important for the development of the knowledge and skills of the students in textile and weaving education institutions and their ability to increase the workforce sought in the textile industry. This thesis involves designing, improving, and making a prototype an electronic jacquard sampling loom the first time in Turkey. In order to evaluate the production and patterning performance of the prototype, sample fabric production was performed in basic and complex weaving pattern types and the structural properties of the sample fabrics were evaluated. The machine, which produced as a result of the study, is commercially viable and will contribute to the textile industry, textile education institutions, and the economy of our country.
