A thesis intented to corporate image of Gendermerie: The case of Gümüşhane province

This study aims to scientifically reveal the positive image of the Gendarmerie, which is an institution responsible for ensuring peace and security in our country and has a deep-rooted reputation in society. In the first part, the literature review was conducted and the concept of corporate image was defined and discussed. In the second part, the role, duties, organizational structure and corporate image of the Gendarmerie are explained. In the third section, the findings obtained from the surveys conducted with citizens who received service from the Gendarmerie institution in Gümüşhane province were analyzed and interpreted through the SPSS program. The population of the research consists of civilian citizens living in Gümüşhane province and the sample consists of civilian citizens aged 18-55+ who have received service from the Gendarmerie institution in Gümüşhane province. There are 300 private citizens who voluntarily participated in the implementation part of the study. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the corporate image of the Gendarmerie, which has thousands of personnel and a deep-rooted history, is high in the eyes of the citizens it serves.
