The contextual index and functional dictionary of Kadimi Baba's Divan

In this study, the Divan of Kadîmî Baba, one of the 20th century poets of classical Turkish literature, was prepared as a contextual index and functional dictionary. This study, carried out within the scope of the TEBDİZ (Contextual Index and Functional Dictionary of Historical and Literary Texts) project, aims to provide both a comprehensive analysis of the Kadîmî Baba Dîvânı and the creation of a functional dictionary of the work in question. In this study, it was not limited to just preparing a dictionary, but Kadîmî Baba's Dîvân was also approached in terms of both form and content. Our study is based on the book Kadîmî Baba Hayatı ve Şiirleri (2015) prepared by Mümine Çakır. As a result, in this study, firstly the basic meaning of the words was taken as basis, and then their contextual meanings were given. In order to determine the poet's style, certain classifications were made in the introduction part of the thesis. Social, political and cultural facts were revealed through the classifications. Our study consists of four parts. In the first part, Kadîmî Baba's life, literary personality and works; In the second part, the formal features of Kadîmî Baba's Divan; In the third part, the content of Kadîmî Baba's Divan; In the fourth section, there is a dictionary user guide, a contextual index and a functional dictionary of Kadîmî Baba Dîvân.
