the life and identity of Kadirlili Abdülvahap Kocaman

This study, a Master?s thesis on our flk poets, is the latest study on Abdülvahap KOCAMAN. Though some some studies have been carried on on KOCAMAN, they are not enough to evaluate KOCAMAN properly and with a full academic discipline. Our study, which covers contributions of ?Türkiye Aşıklar Bayramı?, held in Konya annually, to Turkish Folk Literature and Turkish Folk poets, and KOCAMAN who is a folk poet, trained by this barlam, in all aspects and his poems il full, is a study to compensate the previous insufficiencies in this field. Our study includes the life, environment, art character and poems of KOCAMAN. In the introduction part, we indroduced the aim and scope of our thesis. The life and identity of KOCAMAN is given in the first chapter in details. In the second chapter, his character and art are evaluated, and inthe third, his poems are given in accordance with their subjects. In the and of our study, we added a bibliography section to display our sources in preparing this thesis. We would be glad to hear the acceptance of this study, which is also intended to enlighten further studies in this field, as a Master?s thesis. Obuiously, there are some deficiencies.
