Abstract (EN)
The concept of entrepreneurship has become an increasingly important concept and research area due to its positive impact on the employment, welfare and long-term growth of countries. Thanks to technological advances and increasing economic expectations, the concept of women entrepreneurship has also come to the fore. In recent years, women's participation in the labour market and their more active role in entrepreneurial activities provide great added value for developing economies. The digital change in the global world has a significant impact on businesses as it affects every aspect of our lives. It is necessary to adopt digitalisation in today's conditions and gain entrepreneurial skills to manage all these processes. The aim of the research is to reveal the digital literacy skills of women entrepreneurs and to determine the level of business performance of women with this skill. In the study, online survey method, one of the quantitative research types, was used. In the first part of the questionnaire, participants filled in the personal information form to determine demographic characteristics. The second section includes the Digital Literacy scale developed by Bayrakçı and Narmanlıoğlu (2021). In the third part, the Business Performance scale adapted into Turkish by Hamşıoğlu (2015) using the studies of Rose and Shoham (2002) and Matsune and Mentzer (2000) was used. The sample of the research consists of 240 women entrepreneurs who are members of Gaziantep TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board, Women Entrepreneurs Support Centre (KAGİDEM) and Gaziantep Entrepreneur Business Women Association (GAGİAD). According to the findings of the research, a significant relationship was found between the digital literacy skills of women entrepreneurs and their business performance.
