Examination of the material colors, desire, and motivation levels preferred by women while exercising

Aim: The aim of this study is to examine the material colors, desire and motivation levels preferred by women while exercising. Material and Method: The research group of the study will consist of 216 women between the ages of 18-55 who exercise in the gyms in Toroslar district of Mersin province. As a data collection tool in the research, the "Sport Participation Motivation Scale" developed by Bingöl (2017) for the motivation and motivation of people to participate in sports, and the "Duty and Ego Orientation Scale in Sports" developed by Toros (2001) for the willingness to exercise and task tendency will be applied. Results: SPSS 22 statistical program was used in the data obtained from the research. According to the data obtained in the research; When we look at the sub-dimension statistics of motivation and motivation to participate in sports and task and ego orientation in sports, task orientation is 216 people, mean standard deviation is 17.32±6.16, ego orientation is 216 people, mean standard deviation is 15.02±5.85, motivation is 216. person, mean standard deviation 39.79±9.53 and when we look at the correlation between motivation and motivation to participate in sports and task and ego orientation in sports, motivation*task orientation r = -0.080 , p = 0.244 , motivation* ego orientation r = -0.87 , p = 0.202 was determined as. No significant difference was found in terms of the correlation relationship (p > 0.05). Conclusions: According to the results of the research, black and blue came to the forefront in terms of preferred colors, task and ego orientation in sports was above the average, and the motivation to participate in sports was below the average. In this sense, it is seen that the participants motivate themselves in terms of the color of the material they use, task and ego orientation. Keywords: Color, Motivation, Woman, Exercise, Desire
