Determination of quality certified system's effects on patient care quality and nurses' perceptions of quality

In the health sector in recent years at the beginning of changes in patient-centered approach is to draw attention. A growing importance in health care, this approach also boosts expectations. Expectations high tide, a high standard of service quality and capture the target in this direction is to secure health care. For this purpose in our country in hospitals, quality studies are conducted. This is one of the quality system ISO-9000 group of standards for quality management is expected to increase patient satisfaction.This study documents to ISO 9001:2000 quality management of the Ministry of Health Training and Research Hospital, and do not have this document in Training and Research Hospital of the nurse to patient perception of quality of care to determine the identifier is in. To gather quality data on certified hospitals at 147 nurses, at 128 nurses without quality certificate in the Hospitals to the questionnaires were applied. The data were evaluated using the SPSS 15.0 program.According to the results of this research, the ISO 9001:2000 quality management certificate of patient-centered care that does not meet enough quality without certified documents and research hospitals participating in the perception of the nurse to patient care reflected in the significant differences that emerged.Key Words: Quality, Quality Certification, Patient Quality of Care, Nursing, ISO 9001:2000
