Abstract (EN)
Trust is a phenomenon that everyone claims to know and can better understand, especially when they perceive or experience its "violation" or "loss". In recent years, changes in the structures, functions and processes of organizations have also caused changes in the behavior of employees. It has been observed that the trust in the organization among employees has generally decreased due to organizational policies and structural regulations. However, employees' trust in the organization is of critical importance for the success of the organization and effective corporate functioning. With the impact of globalization, the world's countries and people have become closer than ever; but still the distance between people has increased noticeably. People all over the world are lonely and are becoming more prone to the feeling of "loneliness". Being alone at work is also a common phenomenon these days. It is a phenomenon that occurs when an employee does not have healthy relationships with his colleagues at work and negatively affects not only the employees but also the workplace, and if not resolved, reduces workplace performance and increases absenteeism. In this study, we tried to investigate whether public employees' perception of organizational trust has an effect on workplace loneliness. For this purpose, data was collected by quantitative research method and as a result of the analysis, a negative, moderately significant relationship was found between the perception of organizational trust and workplace loneliness. Accordingly, as public employees' perception of organizational trust increases, their workplace loneliness decreases.
