Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, canola oil was autoxidized at room temperature for the formation of macroperoxide under the influence of air oxygen for 24 months. Autooxidized canola oil was obtained by autoxidation. This autooxidized canola oil was used as a macroperoxide initiator to obtain novel poly (canola oil-g-styrene) and poly (canola oil-g-methyl methacrylate) graft copolymers by free radical polymerization of both styrene and methyl methacrylate. The monomer concentration and polymerization time of the obtained poly (canola oil-g-styrene) and poly (canola oil-g-methyl methacrylate) graft copolymers were investigated. Some spectroscopic methods (GPC, 1H NMR, FTIR, DSC, TGA, and elemental analysis) were used for the characterization of the obtained new autooxidized canola oil, poly (canola oil-g-styrene) and poly (canola oil-g-methyl methacrylate) graft copolymers.
