Abstract (EN)
Snow transport by wind, during and after snowfall, causes various problems on the roads due to snow drift, accumulation, icing and poor visibility. Snow drift depends on snowfall, topography, air temperature, air humidity, prevailing wind direction and speed. It is prevented by snow fences. In this paper, the basis for snow fence design is given and as an example the existing snow fences on the road from Işık Dağı to Çerkeş is reevaluated.
