Abstract (EN)
This paper studies the profound transformations the Azerbaijani economy underwent after the Second Nagorno-Karabakh War in 2020, using cases from agriculture and industry. Using econometric analysis, descriptive statistics approaches, and case studies, the comparative study analyzes trends of the pre-war period (2015-2020) and the post-war period (2021-2024). The positive estimates from this analysis suggest significant growth in foreign trade volume in the post-war sub-periods. It is especially remarkable that in the fields of agriculture and industry, restructuring has significantly raised the amount of production and export of the country. The thesis is expected to act as a major reference for the academic community, investors, and policy makers who are keen to know about the economic restructuring in Azerbaijan following the war.
