Abstract (EN)

In this study twenty five fairy tales of Karachay-Malkars are transcripted to Latin and then translated to Turkish language.Tales are examined by structural method and it is evoluated by the Motif Index of Folk-Literature to see position of Karachay-Malkar fairy tales in the world of tales.The study is consisted of Foreword, Introduction, Examination I-II, Texts I-II, Conclusion, Bibliography, and Abstract.On structural examination of tales, it is dealt with editing of tales, episodes and formal repetitions of events. On content examination, tales are evoluated by heroes and environment and then motifs are listed by Motif Index of Folk-Literature.Texts are given as firstly transcripted in Latin and then translated in Turkish.
