Abstract (EN)
This research examines the relationship between career management practices and talent management practices in businesses. A study has been conducted in the retail and retail sector to measure the relationship between these two concepts. In addition, questionnaires were conducted using the scales used in previous researches. A questionnaire was administered to 312 store employees and the data from the questionnaire were analyzed using the IBM SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) for Windows 22.0 program. In the first part of the thesis study composed of three parts, career management is given and in the second part concepts related to talent management are included. In the third part of the study, findings obtained through analysis of data are interpreted. Frequency, reliability, factor and correlation analyzes were applied to the data. As a result of the findings and evaluations obtained after the analyzes, there is a statistically significant relationship between career management practices and talent management practices. The results from the research show that an effective talent management system for future needs will be achieved through career management practices and the use of career management practices at this point is important.
