Abstract (EN)

In this study, two novel proton transfer salts [(H2ppz)(Hdipic)2] and [(H2Meppz)(dipic)] have been synthesized from the reaction of 2,6-pyridinedicarboxylic acid (H2dipic) with 2-(piperazine-1-yl)ethanol (ppz) and N-methyl piperazine (Meppz), respectively. The structures of synthesized proton transfer salts have been characterized by ICP-OES, FT-IR, NMR, UV-Vis, DTA-TG techniques. Four transition metal complexes [Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), and Zn(II)] of the proton transfer salt, [(H2ppz)(Hdipic)2], and two metal complexes (Ni(II) ve Cu(II)) of the proton transfer salt, [(H2Meppz)(dipic)], have also been synthesized. The structures of synthesized metal complexes have been characterized by means of single crystal X-ray diffraction method, elemental analysis, ICP-OES, FT-IR, UV-Vis, DTA-TG, magnetic susceptibility and molar conductivity methods.
